From the manufacture of alloys, production of the blanks, complete tailoring and design to the customised finish with gemstones: Each procedure takes place exclusively at the premises in Pforzheim.

Since 2014, August Gerstner is a member of the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC).
The RJC is a standards-setting organization that has been established to advance responsible ethical, human rights, social and environmental practices throughout the diamond, gold and platinum group metals jeweler supply chain.
The RJC has developed a benchmark standard for the jeweler supply chain and credible mechanisms for verifying responsible business practices through third party auditing.
As a proud RJC Member, we commit to operating our business in accordance with the RJC Code of Practices. We commit to integrating ethical, human rights, social and environmental considerations into our day-to-day operations, business planning activities and decision making processes.
In order to meet these requirements we cooperate with our partners on the basis of a long-term relationship promoting with them sustainable practices. They commit to supporting and respecting our policy.
We buy our metals from certified industries that respect the same values as we do. The diamonds in our rings are provided from suppliers that ensure us in written form to respect the strict standards of the UN resolution.
We regard our staff with reciprocal confidence and respect.
Social development of our community is an essential commitment. We offer apprenticeship training positions to young people in several professional fields and support a local charity organization.
